MAINCOR Rohrsysteme GmbH & Co. KG, headquartered in Schweinfurt, was looking for a new e-commerce solution as a manufacturer of plastic pipes for heating and ventilation construction. As a company with a digitalization strategy, the main focus was on deeply integrating the webshop with the ERP system and the Product Information Management (PIM) tool. An app was also to be provided.

Under these conditions, an e-commerce platform was created that not only connects OXID eShop with Infor ERP. The Perfion PIM is also linked to the webshop. Products, prices, stock levels, and many other details are updated automatically. Orders from the webshop are transmitted to Infor and can be dispatched directly. The “Atze-Taler” bonus program was integrated, and the sales team creates quotations and orders in a dedicated portal. Using the barcode scanner in the Android and iOS app, customers can add individual products to the shopping cart and quickly and easily replenish their own inventory. Together with MAINCOR and the IT service provider nubibase, a comprehensive e-commerce project was implemented within two years, culminating in the go-live in November 2020.
