Almatec AG, based in Schüpfheim, Switzerland, specializes in the manufacture of enclosures for control cabinets. Starting with batch sizes of one, customers in Europe and throughout the world are supplied.
Implementation of an online shop based on the enterprise resource planning (ERP) system Microsoft Dynamics AX. Thanks to ESYON, an e-commerce platform based on OXID eShop was deployed within a very short time. Synchronizing data from the shop with the ERP leads to a significant reduction in manual effort in product maintenance and sales. Almatec customers benefit from short delivery times and convenient features in their own customer account. Particularly noteworthy is the close collaboration in Microsoft's partner-to-partner model between the Ambit Group and ESYON. The Ambit Group supports Almatec as a systems house for Microsoft Dynamics AX, and ESYON oversees the implementation and maintenance of the online shop.
