Job content
Programming of customer solutions
The goal is to understand the customer's requirements and to design and implement a suitable solution. This includes both smaller projects, such as individual scripts with a few hours of effort, and complex solutions that can take several weeks or months.
Development and improvement of software solutions
You'll be part of a dedicated team dedicated to merging technology and commerce in creative ways. Your expertise will play a key role in the development of tailor-made solutions to successfully meet our customers' challenges. You will work on new solutions and develop or improve applications and software solutions to meet current and future customer needs.
Tasks/Activities
- You are responsible for the development and implementation of new concepts for our e-commerce solution, e.g. based on Oxid eSales
- You analyze the wishes of customers and take over and coordinate development tasks in an independent way of working
- You will be responsible for optimising the performance of existing modules
- You are responsible for the development and implementation of our app based on Java Script
- Improvement and further development of existing solutions
- Coordination of solutions with the customer
- Collaboration in the development of new concepts and products
Qualifications
- Technical studies in the field of software development (or similar)
- Frontend Experience - Must Have
- HTML5/ CSS/ JavaScript
- Frontend Library Bootstrap
- Backend Experience - Must have
- Relational Databases – MySQL / MSSQL
- Object-oriented programming languages – PHP / C#
- Experience with PHP frameworks such as Zend/Symphony/Laravel
- Backend Experience - Nice to have
- Design patterns such as MVC
- Ideally first experience with JavaScript framework such as Vue.js / React / Svelte / Ionic or Angular
- First experience with progressive web apps
- Implementation, maintenance and technical documentation of APIS (REST / SOAP)
- Secure handling of virtualization via Docker
- Confident handling of version control via GIT
- First experience in DevOps
- Experience with test-driven development, clean code and design patterns
- Enjoyment of passing on knowledge and experience to team members
- Team player with proactive thinking
